Research

"It is clear that much additional work will be required before a complete understanding of the phenomenon is possible."

X-ray diffraction

Analysis of the microstructure of conductive and insulator thin films by X-ray diffraction methods. The influence of the growth conditions on their structure and structural changes during thermal treatment will be studied. The grazing incidence method of the X-ray diffraction will be used for the analysis that in connection with the X-ray source with rotating anode and parallel optics enables to investigate the layers with thicknesses in the nanometer scale.

Fuel cell

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells, also known as polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells (PEMFC), are a type of fuel cell being developed for transport applications as well as for stationary fuel cell applications and portable fuel cell applications. Their distinguishing features include lower temperature/pressure ranges (50 to 100 °C) and a special polymer electrolyte membrane.
